Notes from the master

White Peony’s natural character is preserved through the purest process of air drying on bamboo trays with a slight charcoaling to maintain the integrity of the leaf structure and its inner compounds.

Plucked as one bud and one tender leaf, the silvery bud is embraced by the green leaf resembling a blossoming flower. It exudes a light, captivating fragrance reminiscent of delicate wildflowers blooming on a mountain stream. The taste is fresh, smooth and subtly sweet, an uplifting quality that captures the vibrant essence of spring.

Sustainability

All of the materials used in our packaging are carefully selected for sustainability and the natural expression of the materials, consistent with our brand ethos of authenticity.

Drip Packaging:

With its simple and sophisticated hook-style design, all you need to do is hang it on your cup to set it up. There are no complicated steps, and you can easily make delicious tea.

The Drip Mesh Filter is made by 100% PLA (polylactic acid) made from plant-based resin, and it is compostable and sustainable.

PLA is also the best packing material for organic tea because it preserves the original flavor of the tea leaves best without imparting impurities that affect the flavor.  This reflects our commitment to sustainability.

The Legacy of Wú Shui Wàng

We are 4th generation proud inheritors of the legacy of tea masters across generations in our family. Our teacher and inspiration is our father Wú Shui Wàng. Applying wisdom to his deep knowledge of tea, Shui Wang oversees our tea making and training the next generation of tea crafters.

In the time honoured tradition, our artisans craft the tea by hand that ensures quality. We use only natural materials from woven bamboo trays for air drying with fresh mountain air to wood charcoal for fire-roasting. Though making tea by hand is time-consuming and labor-intensive, the result is a richer, cleaner and deeply satisfying tea.
